NEDS AFFILIATED DISPLAY GARDENS MASS. HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY'S ELM BANK - Wellesley, MA Thank you to Barbara Provest for her effort in organizing and designing a NEDS sponsored daylily garden for all to enjoy at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society's Elm Bank. NEDS members donated plants and provided the manpower to make this daylily garden a reality. Click here for directions. HERITAGE PLANTATION - Sandwich, MA Heritage Museum and Gardens, the former estate of Charles O. Dexter, is a 76 acre parcel of land which features 125 varieties of rhododendrons which usually bloom Memorial Day Weekend and into the first two weeks of June, a Holly Dell and approximately 900 daylilies which bloom from mid-July through the first week of August. NEDS provides the new Award of Merit winners each year to help keep the collection updated. Also found here are more than a thousand varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers, many of them labeled.
