This year the American Daylily Society Summer Regional Events for Region 4 will take place in central Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire between Friday, July 21st and Tuesday, July 25th. Please click on the Map of Events and Other Things to Do here or the link at left to show you where the events are taking place, including open gardens, the NEDS Daylily Exhibition, the ADS Region 4 Picnic and Auction, other things to do and places to eat dinner near Harmon Hill Farm.  Use the map and the information below to plan your own itinerary and pick and choose the events to attend.  You will be responsible for lodging, getting yourself from place to place and for paying for your admission to New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill if you decide to attend the Exhibition.   The Picnic and Auction will be held rain or shine.  (We will have a tent.)  Please reach out to the open garden owners in the event of rain.

Registration
Please register by July 16, 2023, so we will know how many to plan for.  You can register online or print a Registration Form and mail it in with your payment for lunch.  Please indicate if you would like to participate in the Garden Judge Workshop 2 (fee payable to the instructor on the day of the event) and whether you'll be bringing your own lunch or if you will pay $15.00 per person for lunch.  (We will be offering hamburgers, hot dogs, garden salad, pasta salad, chips, cookies, watermelon and water).  There is no fee to register for the events but if you are buying the picnic lunch, please send a check for $15.00 per person made payable to Marlene Harmon and send by July 16, 2023, to Marlene Harmon, 49 Ledge Road, Hudson, NH 03051.

  • 11:00 am - 3:30 pm - (Click on the link) New England Daylily Society Daylily Exhibition and Plant Sales Tables.  Head to New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, 11 French Drive, Boylston, MA. Daylilies brought in by NEDS members will be on exhibit for the public showing the variety of sizes, shapes, colors and patterns of the plant we all love. Also visit our Daylily sales tables and Membership table. Before or after visiting the Exhibition, walk the grounds at the Botanic Garden to enjoy the display of the finest plants for cultivation in New England. The nonprofit offers carefully planned gardens and collections of ornamental, edible and native plants, plus trails that enhance the natural features of this beautiful 171-acre property.  There's a Garden Shop carrying a carefully selected array of botanic-themed gifts, and Farmer and Fork Café with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. It's a must-see destination all ages can enjoy together. It is recommended to purchase your tickets online in advance to secure your preferred date. You can also buy tickets in person at the Garden.
